Due to the effects of the Spiral Gestalt phenomenon affecting D-9341, it is possible that the Insurgency managed to rescue D-9341 from the site. Maynard and Skinner caused a containment breach in 2012 involving nearly every anomaly at the Modular Site, resulting in demoted Foundation doctor and Class-D Personnel D-9341 escaping custody. After the Insurgency damaged dozens of critical Foundation facilities across the world, Maynard and fellow agent Skinner spearheaded the construction of the Modular Site. In either case, Maynard became a double agent for the Insurgency and grew to be highly respected and influential in his position. Eventually, subsequent orders are then given to Alpha-class personnel recruited from the non-anomalous world. They issue commands to Gamma-class personnel who lead cells, who then command Beta-class personnel working in the field. Command structureĭelta Command is the effective commanding council of the Insurgency, akin to the O5 Council whom they once served. The Anomaly spreads to other units in 5 tiles radious and deals 1 damage per turn, but vanishes after 2 turns, if the unit isn't reinfected. The Special ammo applies a "Vocabular Cognitohazard" status effect, which significantly decreases will, psioffense, and aim of those affected, while mildly boosting their defense. They will ocassionaly use it to surprise you or advent. In mid and late game, They get even more health and armor.Īll of the above start concealed, and have ability that lets them reconceal anytime they want. Mikes are also immune to any mental attacks. They also enter a rage mode after taking damage, just like a berserker would. More commonly known as SCP 3033-1 instances, these killing machines are Packed in armor and Heavy equipment.

They always drop this ammo for your units to use it in the field. Tier 2 and tier 3 psions use ammo that applies a custom effect, that is essentially a cognitohazard.

Later they upgrade to better gear and stats. At first they are armed with a stolen advent mag rifle (If you have so much of this stuff laying around why not use it?), and a solace ability. Insurgency was one of first to start experimenting with elerium, which let them create psionic troopers pretty early.

Later on they get better guns, and better stats. They are really mobile and they will try to flank you at all times. They are equipped with shotguns, hazmat vests, and later they get gas grenades. Recruits make up At least half of each Chaos Insurgency field squad.

There are tier two and tier three variants of each insurgent, granting them better gear and stats.
